I have a store that I will transfer the ownership to someone else, I have 2 questions
- I’m still on my three-month free trial; will the new owner have to pay for a plan or will the free trial continue?
- How can the new owner alter the Shopify Payment that includes my information to his information?

I understand that you’re in the process of transferring a development store to a client.
To address your first question, when a development store is transferred to a new owner, it’s no longer eligible for promotions or free trials. The new owner starts paying when they select a paid plan. Please note: After you transfer the ownership of a development store to another account, the transfer can’t be reversed.
In regard to your second question, if you activated Shopify Payments on your client’s store using your own information, then you need to update to the client’s information. You’ll need to contact our support team via the Shopify Help Center to have the Shopify Payments account updated.
