Wondering what quote or story keeps you going when sales dip? I’m hunting for some motivation pieces to stay hyped and keep momentum.
Topic summary
A user seeks motivational quotes or stories to maintain momentum during sales downturns.
Suggested approaches:
- Using music as a mood-shifter and motivational tool
- Exploring curated motivational quotes (resource link provided)
- The mantra “Hustle beats talent when talent doesn’t hustle”
Key recommendation: Multiple participants emphasize building consistent habits over relying on motivation alone. Specific suggestions include:
- Dedicating 30-60 minutes weekly to search community forums for tips on common challenges (e.g., “No sales” topics)
- Implementing habit-chaining techniques with triggers, actions, and rewards
The consensus leans toward sustainable systems and routines rather than temporary motivational boosts for long-term success.
What can switch my mood quickly is music. The right music can push me through almost anything.

Hustle beats talent when talent doesn’t hustle
HI @Arcs
I think that you do not need motivation, but habits. Build some habits that would help your store, and bit by bit they can help you out in the long run.
For example, have a habit of “Search community for tips” and spend 30 minutes or an hour a week on just searching topics with “No sales”. You could learn a lot, but also get some tips to try and implement in your store.
Agreed with @Laza_Binaery on building habits. Chaining up your habit with a trigger, action, and reward can go a long way.
Hey @Arcs
Your customers are out there, it just takes time and consistent effort for them to find you. Keep experimenting, and most importantly, keep dreaming big. The right people will come.
Consistency and the right habits are the key. Also there’s one line that keeps me going through the days. With every hardship there’s ease.
Success isn’t owned, its leased. And rent is due everyday. When momentum fades, I focus on protecting the win.
