Hi @DanniT ,

Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

1. Favicon Addition:

Include a favicon image to enhance your website’s professionalism and make it easily distinguishable among multiple open tabs.

Here is an example for you:

2. Logo Resizing:

Your navigation menu’s logo is quite large. Consider resizing it or using an alternative version to ensure it doesn’t appear oversized.

2. Hero Section Improvements:

I’ve noticed that your store features multiple product lines. Consider dividing your hero section into separate banners, each introducing a different product line with a clear Call to Action (CTA) button linking to the respective collection page.

Ensure the images are high-quality and the descriptions instantly convey what you are selling and highlight your products’ unique selling points. The current hero section may confuse customers, making it hard for them to understand your offerings quickly, which could increase your bounce rate.

You can follow the format of your current hero banner. I think it’s great!

3. Product Collection Section:

Ensure the images for each product collection are unique and not duplicated. Additionally, consider adding more sections to introduce all your product lines effectively.

Here is the section I mention:

4. Featured Product Section:

The images in the featured product section should have the same dimensions. Inconsistent image sizes can make your website look unprofessional.

This is the section I mention:

5. Footer Revamp:

Update your footer to include a sitemap for easier navigation. Also, add your store’s contact information to establish legitimacy. If you have social media accounts, include direct links in the footer to encourage customer visits. Missing links can frustrate customers and prevent them from engaging with your social media.

You can follow this example:

6. Product Page Slider:

Allow images on the product page to be viewed in a slider. This will enable users to see all your images without extensive scrolling.

7. FAQ and Contact Page:

Add an FAQ page to address common customer concerns. Revamp your Contact Us page to include a contact form, allowing customers to reach you directly from your website without leaving to send an email. This can increase site engagement time.

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a FREE LiveChat, FAQ & Helpdesk App that can help your support experience easier, better, faster!

Hi @DanniT Thank you for reaching out. I’ve taken a look at your dropshipping store and I have a few suggestions to help you convert traffic into sales.

  1. User Experience and Design:

    • Ensure your homepage is visually appealing with high-quality images and clear, compelling calls-to-action. A strong value proposition at the top can engage visitors instantly.
    • Simplify your navigation menu. Make it easy for customers to find products and important information like shipping and return policies.
    • Ensure your product descriptions are detailed, highlighting benefits, features, and uses. High-quality images and customer reviews can also build trust and interest.
  2. Checkout Process:

    • A multi-step or complicated checkout process can lead to cart abandonment. Ensure your checkout process is straightforward and user-friendly.
    • Display trust badges and secure payment icons during checkout to reassure customers of their safety.
  3. Marketing and Promotions:

    • Include customer reviews and testimonials. Showing that others have bought and are satisfied with your products can influence new customers.
    • Use tactics like limited-time offers or low-stock notifications to create urgency and encourage quick purchases.
  4. Coupon Discount on Cart App:

    • The Coupon Discount on Cart app can help you offer automatic discounts, making it easier for customers to see the savings they will get without needing to search for coupon codes.
    • By displaying available discounts directly on the cart page, you can reduce cart abandonment and increase the likelihood of completing the purchase.
    • Tailor your discount offers based on customer behavior and preferences. You can offer discounts on specific products, for a minimum cart value, or for first-time buyers.
    • Gain insights into which discounts are performing best and optimize your strategies accordingly. The app provides valuable data to refine your promotional tactics.

You can explore more about the Coupon Discount on Cart app and how it can benefit your store here: Coupon Discount on Cart.

Best regards,

Ina

Hi DanniT,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I’m Tracy from BON: Loyalty Rewards Referrals.

I have checked your website and I have to say it looks decent to me. However, there’re some suggestions from my points of view to increase sales.

  1. Menu bar
In the screen of 1920x1080, the menu is quite small for customers to notice. Besides, this should be sticky. A sticky menu bar allows users to access the main navigation options without having to scroll back to the top of the page, making it easier to explore different sections of the website.

  1. The button “Shop more” is small and almost blend in to the background.

  1. The button for Home & Tech is missing text.

  1. The section at the bottom of the Homepage has a lot of spare space. → it might distract customers.

  1. You can consider using product carousel list instead of showing images all on product detail page.
  2. I notice you use an app to show gifts when make a purchase, but instead you can use the pop up to show the gifts or reward instantly when customers come to your page. As sometimes, customers do not notice the gift box at the corner of the page. Moreover, the gift box can also be hidden by another upsell product.

Hello Danni,

I can also offer a perspective, of course, from our area of expertise (Datma being a product analytics and reporting app). Beside good design, professional looking website there is also a need for good understanding of your product offering and how your potential customers are interacting with it. This is crucial to the success of any e-commerce site. Data points like: which products are generating views and add to carts, which products have low (or high) conversion or abandonment rates. All this visibility helps you to be able to take actions in improving the product offer, the pricing or other factors that in the end would result in an improved overall conversion rate and more sales.

Look at a demo (no signup needed) to have a better impression about what kind of measurements I have in mind: https://demo.datma.io/shopify/reporting/metrics/1416 - this a direct link to a reports with all products with conversions, add to carts, abandonment rates.

Best,

Peter @ Datma

Hi @DanniT ,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance. Here are my recommendations to improve your conversion rate:

1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

A high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center
  1. Improving the speed and performance on mobile
  • I checked your website performance on PageSpeed Insights - a Google tool that measures the website performance and found that scores on mobile, where a high number of the traffic is coming from, is around 4x while the performance score on mobile should ideally be above 6x.

  • Slow loading speeds affect various aspects related to user behavior and business outcomes, ultimately leading to lower conversion rates. Here is some suggestion:
  • For Shopify stores, the following are several factors that impact website performance
  • Store theme
  • The apps installed
  • Any additional third-party code you’ve manually added to your store, including tag managers and the tags within them- Here are some tips that you can use to improve your site performance:
  • Use compressed images
  • Optimize use of Shopify apps
  • Or consider professional help
  • You can check here more advice from Shopify

Besides, here is some suggestions regarding the UX/UI of your website:

3. Homepage

3.1. Banner

The current banners are too general, you should use a high-quality, eye-catching hero banner with a clear value proposition and a strong call-to-action (CTA). Highlight any ongoing sales, new arrivals, or bestsellers. Below is a reference:

3.2. Featured product and you may also like

  • You should make price information or discount labels more noticeable.
  • Adding “add to cart”, “Add to wish list” and “Quick view” buttons to encourage customers to buy products.
  • Below is a reference

4. Search bar

  • You should enhance the search by making larger product images, adding search by brand, search by collection to improve search bar
  • Below is a reference:

5. Remove notifications about visitors

I don’t think this helps you to attract your customers. It just caused disruption as they have to stop shopping and turn off this.

6. Product detail page

6.1. Adding review section

Review will provide customers more information about the product. It will enhance trust, provide more information about products and address buying hesitation. See a reference below:

6.2. Lack product details

The lack of product information might be an issue for the conversion as it will cause the hesitation to purchase. Make sure to provide customers as much information as possible. See differences between yours and a reference:

I hope some of my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback.

Good luck!
