Greetings!

Topic summary

A new store owner seeks feedback on their e-commerce site selling clothing and accessories.

Key Issues Identified:

  • Homepage & Navigation: Hero image should showcase product variety rather than just t-shirts; heading text lacks contrast and readability; CTA button needs more prominent styling; menu structure is confusing (e.g., “Home collection” unclear, blog article misplaced in product menu)

  • Technical Problems: Q&A button is disabled and needs custom code to trigger Shopify chat; menu titles appear oversized

  • Content Strategy: Blog articles are too text-heavy with unsuitable fonts and lack SEO optimization; content doesn’t effectively address customer pain points or follow frameworks like AIDA; needs more fashion news and trending product updates

  • Product Presentation: Featured products should appear higher on page (directly under hero section); product categories need better organization separating clothes from accessories

  • Marketing Recommendations: Implement social proof techniques (visitor counters, recent purchases, trending items); use retargeting ads; refine audience targeting based on demographics and interests

The store owner acknowledges all feedback and commits to implementing the suggested fixes.

@JulesEmmanuel Hey, thanks for posting here.

your store is looking fantastic but i have noteced that QA button is disable .

i sugget you that add custom code when someone click on QA button shopify chat automatically open

also you menu titles are too big as text.:

Hi @JulesEmmanuel , thank you for replying here!

I do think your business idea is great and will work however to help people really understand it you need to show how variety of products that your store will sell. Start marketing and writing content revolving how you help them find a REASONABLE but OF Variety of clothes and accessories. People like the idea of success so tell them about it not just what you gonna do for them.

With that in mind you can do these things to acquire more visitors to your store:

1. Optimize UX/UI design

  • I suggest that you should change the Heropage image to variety of products you sell. If I were to visit your store in the first time, I would just notice that your store will buy the usual T-shirts (maybe not my intention to go to your store)

  • The heading on the picture is quite difficult to see. You might want to add an dark overlay on the picture or put the Heading into a box so it can be much easier to read.

  • The CTA button should be more outstanding to catch customer attention. I propose changing to different color with solid state for that button.

  • Rename and arrange of types of products helps your site be more logical and easy-to-understand for customers. For example, you can separate the clothes (T-shirt, hoodie, dress) from accessories. Moreover, the Home collection is no meanning for me, it’s just incomprehensible. Also, The Featured Product List section should be placed on top of the page (right under the hero section). It gives visitors a broad view of what you are selling

  • Checking the drawer menu, I noticed that you misarrange the sections in Clothing and Accessories. For example, "LOVERLY TOTES: INSPIRED BY MY FAIR LADY" is an article but you place this section in the product menu, it is unsuitable. Therefore, you need to arrange the drawer menu more carefully.

2. Updating blog/ article

  • I can notice that you put much effort on blogs/ article but as I can see, it has no impact on me to decide on purchasing product. There is some reasons that I will give you is the content is not suitable and no SEO content to optimize your store. The font of text and the length is hard to read and easily make customers bored with the content you give, You can consider the AIDA framework to optimỉze your content to solve the pain-point of customers. Besides, add some collection, news about fashion or news about your product to make your store up-to-date to trends.

3. Marketing and Advertising

  • Target Audience: Ensure your ads are targeted to the right audience. Use demographics, interests, and behaviors to narrow down your target market.
  • Retargeting: Implement retargeting ads to reach visitors who have previously visited your site but didn’t make a purchase.
  • Social Proof: Use social proof techniques such as showing the number of visitors, recent purchases, or trending products. I highly recommend that you can use SnapNoti FOMO Vistor Counter - free for all features to build trust in your store to convert visitors into customers easier.

I recommend implementing these changes to improve customer experience when scrolling through your store, in turn increase your conversion rate.
