Help! Meta shops buttons are disabled - Shows Hidden

Hello, I am having a problem connection my shopify store to Instagram and facebook. It was working great a few weeks ago and now all of a sudden it just randomly stopped working. I keep getting a message from Shopify to update my sales channel and when I do it says “You’ve set 2 of your sales channels to be hidden. Update your settings to make them visible to customers.” I tried to press on the Hidden button but it is unclickable for both Instagram and Facebook, which was never the case. All my items on the listing have been Approved and Synced as well but I cant seem to connect the store.

My account is located in Ireland (Not sure if that would help)

I’m having exactly the same issue. Is the connection between shopify and meta down?

I’ve had the same problem for the past 24 hours. Must be a Shopify/Meta bug.

I am having the same issue as well, I wonder if it has anything to do with Google Analytics 4 as it has been happening since the migration. I reset meta to G4 and my buttons are still disabled. No issue with my meta account status either

Having the exact 100% same problem since yesterday or the day before…

Okay everyone! I found a solution…remove your “tax in price”, uninstall your fb instagram app, reinstall, and reapply

Hi Khaleej (and everyone). I found your post when I had the same problem (I dropped a note into your comments), but I also contacted Shopify support. Within 24 hours, I head back that: “… on April 27th, 2023, Meta announced changes to merchants where they will only support Facebook and Instagram Shops with Checkout on Facebook and Instagram checkout (native checkout) enabled. This means that a number of merchants outside of the US and some specific countries will lose the ability to sell on Facebook.” I saw the notice of this coming, but forgot to note the start date. It seems that if Meta can’t get its cut, it won’t support the feature. So if you’re outside certain territories (like you and me), there’s no more product tagging. The workaround for us is link in bio (which I have done anyway for some time).

I guess you’re right, just got this message on the Business Dashboard…

Okay so i looked at all your responses and nothing seems to work. My shop was running and working well after April as well so I don’t think that was the issues either, I checked the shop review on my Instagram page now and it says website still in review (it was accepted months ago so i don’t know why its reviewing again) which has been taking weeks. The commerce account review though is “Approved” but its still disabled on shopify
