Help Needed: TikTok Pixel on Shopify

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue while trying to set up my TikTok Pixel on Shopify TikTok app. In the “Data Sharing” section, I’ve selected the “Maximum” option, but I keep getting the message:

“Ensure your privacy policy reflects your usage of customer data. Manage your privacy policy.”

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Updated my Shopify privacy policy to include details about data usage and sharing with TikTok.

  2. Disconnected and reconnected the TikTok Pixel.

  3. Ensured my Shopify store has the cookie banner enabled and is GDPR compliant.

Despite these steps, the error message persists. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

do you thing that creating a new tiktok account could work, and fix the issue?

but if creating a new tiktok account and connect it to shopify would fix the issue, i don’t even need to contact the expert i’ll just create a new tiktok ads account no?

What was the resolution here, I dont see it.
