You should be able to complete the setup of PayPal as a payment gateway for your store in the settings > payments menu in your Shopify admin.
Can you let me know what you see there currently?
Depending on where in the world your store is located, the availability of payment gateways (including PayPal) will vary.
If you’re happy to confirm in which country your store is based, I can share a full list of the gateways available there so we can check to see which version of PayPal might be available where you are.
Would you be setting up a store for the first time, and would you be selling clothing by any chance?
