Hey shopify users, I am trying to run a promo to buy product-X from a specific collection and receive product-Y for free! Is there a way to automatically add product-Y inside cart automatically each time any products from collection-X is added to cart ?

Have you tried Free Gifts BOGO buy x get y by Secomapp? It automatically adds free gifts to your customer cart once the customers meet the condition of your offer. It doesn’t hurt to give it a try

I would suggest you explore Shopify App Store. Check out the link https://apps.shopify.com/ and search for BOGO. I recommend selecting the app based on provided reviews from other merchants and your budget.
