I closed store at the beginning of ths year but i dont remember used i renew custom domain or no. How can i close my domain and don’t pay renewing if my store

A Shopify employee posted: “If auto-renew has been left enabled when you closed your store, the domain will continue to renew and will incur an annual registration fee. To stop the domain registration from renewing, auto-renew needs to be turned off.”
If you don’t know if you left auto-renew on or not, then you’d need to reopen your store, login to the admin, check/edit the setting for it, and then close the store down again.
How to disable automatic domain renewal from within the Shopify admin:
You could also try reaching out to Shopify’s support directly for help with this. I’m not sure if they’d be able to cancel your domain without the store being open or not, but it’s worth a try.
