Im trying to verify my identity but my Legal name on Shopify is set as my business name so the information won’t line up, how can I edit this to where I can put my actual information and be able to submit my documentation to verify my identity?

I understand that you’re looking to update your information as the documents you’re submitting do not match the information that’s on file. This information cannot be adjusted directly from the Shopify admin. Our internal team has access to this information and can look into updating this information to reflect the documents you’re trying to submit.
In order to do this, you’ll need to create a support request via the Shopify Help Center. For better visibility, I’ll share the steps below.
- Head over to the Shopify Help Center.
- Log into your account.
- From the topics provided, select Money > Shopify Payments.
- On the following page, scroll to the section Get Support to view our available contact options.
