I ordered from a shopify store and got scammed. No contact from seller and no product how do I get a refund or is it possible
Posting on an online forum does nothing. First, try contacting the store and be patient for a response. Second, if you don’t hear back contact your credit card company and do a chargeback.
I recommend being patient. Most of the stores on Shopify are small businesses. Give them the benefit of the doubt before assuming you were scammed. Contacting your bank should be last resort.
Hi, I only posted here because I couldn’t get in contact with shopify support. On the support page there was no chat line I was able to contact only FAQ’s. I’m only saying I got scammed since my friend also ordered from them and they’ve ghosted us on email and sent no shipping updated
Shopify support can do nothing to assist you. Keep in mind most stores on Shopify are small businesses and I’ve found sometimes patience is your best friend. Give them the benefit of the doubt. As a final resort contact your credit card company for a chargeback.
Remember Shopify is not a store. They host websites and have no involvement in the fulfillment of orders or customer service for these stores. They host websites.
