How can I improve my online store for better sales?

I recently created my shopify store hustlerslimit.com around a month or two ago and I’d like an outside opinion, what do you guys think of it? Is there anything I can improve? I’m struggling to get my first sale so I’m wondering if it’s something to do with my store design or layout

  • Have a favicon for your store: This makes your store look unique and professional.

1. Have a sticky header

This will help customers navigate from every part of the homepage to any page of your store more conveniently.

2. Redesign your notification bar

Make your notification bar well-designed and simple with your convincing brand values. This keeps the intrigue high, inspiring them to scroll & learn more about your products.

3. CTA buttons

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.

With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc.

It’s great when you placed a “Shop Now” button on your banner. A CTA button here will urge visitors to make the purchase and it is a great way to optimize your home page.

But, please change its hover color to make it more visible when hovering.

And rest assured that all CTA buttons should have the same styling to boost the conversion rate.

4. Check typo

As you can see in my screenshot, there is a “u” cap locked unexpectedly

5. Have a benefit section

Adding a benefit section in the middle of the homepage will give your customers a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition. This helps reduce the bounce rate and increase the likelihood of purchase.

6. Align the footer evenly

There is too much spacing on the right side and this makes your store outlook less aesthetically. Please recheck this part.

Furthermore, when I checked your store performance on Google PageSpeed Insights, the page speed on desktop is great but on mobile, here it is:

We both know that page speed is extremely crucial for both buyer’s experience and Google ranking, so you could consider Shopify themes made to help you boost Google pagespeed score for your store such as Blum, Refresh, Dawn…

1. Header:

Make your header sticky so that people can easily access to any categories that they want while scrolling through your site.

2. Products section:

  • Your products section here looks great, but technically, your “New Release” and “Our Lineup” exactly the same products, this may confuse your customers. If you haven’t had any new more products, consider to hide the new release section.

  • Check your typo clearly, make sure your text don’t get cap locked unexpectedly.

3. Testimonials:

Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. It’s great to see you a star rate under each products but it’d be more interesting if you can add a testimonials section on the homepage.

4. Footer section:

This section has too many white space, you can dive in more to have more content here.

5. Pagespeed Insights:

Your site speed performance is quite good on desktop but not on mobile. You can consider to change to another theme that responsive to both version. Meanwhile, you can try to:

  • Optimize your image files
  • Optimize your theme codes
  • Remove unnecessary apps or codes
  • Use lazyloading

  1. Your accepted methods of payment should be placed clearly at the bottom of the homepage. These could include PayPal, Mastercard, etc

  2. A good way to boost customer activity and ultimately, your conversion rate is by showing customers what others are doing in your store.
