Hi @JulesEmmanuel ,

I’m Kate from PageFly – Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

Just wanted to say congrats on launching your Shopify store! Your website looks great – it’s obvious you’ve put a lot of work into it.

I have visited your store and noticed a few areas that you can improve to increase conversion rates on your website.

1. Limit pop up to one page

When I first visited your page, I saw 3 pop-ups. Many pop-ups can disrupt the user’s shopping journey, interrupting their focus and flow; they also affect mobile loading speed. By limiting the number of pop-ups and using them strategically, you can enhance user experience, maintain a clean and professional site appearance, and improve overall conversion rates.

2. Add unique favicon to your site

You use multiple icons that automatically change to differentiate your store. However, I suggest using only one unique icon for your store to help customers identify it easily.

3. Highlight the CTA button in the hero banner

CTA in the hero banner is the first thing visitors see, and it sets the tone for the rest of the page. So, you should make it prominent by using a contrasting color for the button and its background that stands out from the hero background and ensure the button text is highly readable. Beside that, you can add hover and selected state for the button to draw attention to the button.

4. Add “Add to cart” button in the product list

By adding an “Add to cart” button in product lists, you can help customers with the trouble of having to click on a product in order to add it to their cart.

5. Adjust the style of the blog post list

You can modify the font size of the blog post description by adjusting the font size, font family, etc. By doing that, you can ensure the text is large enough to be easily read on various screen sizes. Differentiate between headings, subheadings, and body text to create a clear visual hierarchy.

6. Check mobile responsiveness

On mobile devices, the description in the hero banner is cut off, so your customers won’t see any information. This also creates a large blank space, which can negatively impact the customer experience. Before launching your page, let’s ensure all sections are responsive on all devices.

That’s all of my feedback. Hope it helps to improve your store performance.

Cheers,

Kate | PageFly team

Hi @JulesEmmanuel , thank you for posting here!

Once I visited your store, S Knowles Jewellery looked stunning and I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building it.
I wanted to share some general feedback for your store and tips on traffic and conversion with you here that you might find useful:
1. Redesign the Hero page- button:
The button on the hero page is crucial for driving customers to your product collections, so it needs to stand out and have an attractive CTA text for customers. Currently, you don’t have a button on this hero page; I recommend adding a button with some effects like shadows to give the button a raised appearance and changing the color to align with your brand’s concept to encourage customers to click on it more.
Additionally, instead of “Shop” you could use more appealing messages like “Limited stock available. Buy now to secure your item!”, “Grab yours today,” or “Get our new collections first,” etc.

2. Lacking Favicon Browse Tab
I notice that your store has no logo brand for the searching tab, I highly recommend that you create one to build trust and make your store more trustworthy.

3. Resize the header banner and mega menu

The header banner and mega menu are too large and need to be smaller in height to balance the layout of your homepage.

4. Redesign the CTA button

5. Adjust the text font on the news page

I highly recommend you lighten the font for the paragraphs, as the current text is too bold and doesn’t look nice.

6. Adding About Us section on the Homepage

We cater to humanistic shoppers, who will seek out who is BEHIND the product, and why they should buy from you. So consider adding an About Us section to introduce your brand.
I can see that you have not had an About Us page yet but adding a separate section on your homepage would help visitors easy to read without having to navigate to another page. It would improve the user experience in general.
For example:

7. Adding Review part on the homepage
To increase customer trust in your shop, you should add a customer review section at the end of your homepage.

8. Add key USPs section with key icons
Your current homepage lacks key information about products. It may increase the bouncing rate as users don’t find important content they need. Helpful, easy-to-see benefits icons quickly introduce your products’ unique selling points, giving a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition.

9. Make ATC button & price information in unique & prominent styling
It’s important to highlight the key information like the price and call to action. Adding other styling like bold, and italic, using different colors and font sizes to the price, and mouse over state for the ATC button to make them more noticeable.

I recommend implementing these changes to improve customer experience when scrolling through your store and, in turn, increase your conversion rate.

What is your strategy for driving traffic to the page ?

Hi @JulesEmmanuel ,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I’m Lindsey!

I understand the frustration of not making sales despite putting in a lot of effort. Here are some possible reasons why you might not be seeing sales on your store, along with some suggestions for improvement:

1. Homepage Design

  • Too Many Items: Your homepage seems cluttered with too many items. This can overwhelm visitors and obscure the primary focus of your store. Consider simplifying the homepage to highlight your key products or collections and make the purpose of the page clear.
  • Large Video: While videos can be engaging, a large video on the homepage might be distracting, especially if it takes up significant screen space. You might want to reduce its size or move it to a different section where it complements the content rather than dominating it.

2. Readability Issues
The text font is hard to read, this can detract from the user experience. Opt for a clear, legible font that is easy on the eyes. Ensure that the text color contrasts well with the background to enhance readability.

3. Navigation Enhancements
Implementing a sticky menu bar would allow customers to easily navigate your site, improving their overall experience. This is especially useful for users who scroll down the page, as it keeps the navigation options within easy reach.

4. Footer Section
The footer section should be clearly separated and well-organized, making it easier for visitors to find essential links like contact information, policies, and social media handles.

5. Product Listing Page
Adding filters to the product listing page can greatly enhance user experience, allowing customers to narrow down their search based on specific criteria such as price, category, or color.

6. Product Detail Page Improvements

  • Product Carousel: Arranging product images in a carousel allows customers to easily view different angles and variations of a product without overwhelming the page.
  • Bullet Point Descriptions: Presenting the product description in bullet points makes it easier for customers to quickly grasp the key features and benefits of the product.
  • Highlight “Add to Cart” Button: The “Add to Cart” button should stand out to encourage action. Consider using a bolder color or larger size to make it more prominent.
  • Add a Review Section: Customer reviews are crucial for building trust. Adding a review section on the product detail page can influence purchasing decisions by providing social proof.

I hope these suggesstions will be helpful for you. We’re looking foward to seeing your store thrive!

If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a ‘LIKE’ or marking it as a ‘SOLUTION’.

Best regards,

Lindsey

Hi @JulesEmmanuel

First, your store does look good, even if it is on a free Dawn theme. Some paid themes would have more features but for the start it is fine.

Second, great response from the community here, really good pieces of advice are mentioned. Do follow them and you will improve your store a lot.

Besides really annoying popups from WizCommerce and Conversion Bear, for me two things are crucial and why I would even think to buy from you: domain name and lack of contact info. When I see myshopify.com to me, that store is still in development or not serious enough to buy a proper domain.

And a lack of contact info to not bring any more confidence.

Still, good luck in improving your store, and hope you get sales soon.
