I am starting to think my theme, layout of my page is a part of why i am not generating more sales . I need help creating a side menu with different catergories. Right now my main page is not very attractive… and i have to click shop all items to see whats available. I need some guidance. I have done as much as i can on my own but i think i am stuck

Could you mind sharing us your store url? Hats off on working on your own to creating a brand off your own.
There are many factors to why sales are not generating from your website. It could be that users feel stuck or the landing page is not converting etc.
I recommend adding analytics to your account and see what users are actually doing in your website, where did your users come from, which pages did users land into. What buttons, banners, text they clicked, viewed etc. With that data in mind, then you can start designing your pages, changing some sections (doing A/B tests) etc. Shopify does have it’s own default analytics but I do recommend adding google analytics as well (it’s free).

Every business is different, and some folks see lots of sales very quickly, and others don’t see them until a few months or weeks down the road. The most important thing to check is to make sure there are no errors with your website, and that you’re working on your marketing and SEO, so customers can find your shop!
I’d love to know more about your business and your current marketing initiatives. What type of products are you selling? You can also share your store URL and I can provide some more tailored advice!
In the meantime, we have a** great guide **that goes over a few free traffic sources. In addition to that, have you taken some time to look into your marketing strategy for your shop? Shopify allows you to organically grow your marketing and SEO, but you definitely want to invest some time into getting these things going. Marketing on Social Media, for example, is a great way to drive customers to your online store.
