Our FB orders are connected to Shopify. We need to do a courtesy refund for an order issue, but can’t seem to find a way to do that when it’s a FB order, only return or partial credit on a return…not a partial credit on the whole order? Any ideas? TIA
Unfortunately, no one has come to the table offering a resolution and we were just way too busy managing the total business over the holidays to dig in any further. Not sure if this is a Shopify issue or a FB issue, but going to start with reaching out to FB since none of the Shopify experts have weighed in.
We had reached out to both about it. Shopify said it was a FB issue and FB was inconsistent about it. They did say they are working on a solution but that was a couple of months ago that they said that so it doesn’t seem like they’ve really done anything. That said it seems strange to me that more people haven’t reported on this because it would seem like a threshold issue especially with Shops requiring payment on their platform starting in April (we will just discontinue or fb shop if it isn’t fixed). Maybe helpful if more people complain to fb about it.
