Hi,
I had an old Shopify account that I cancelled or suspended. PrettyDecentSocks. I wanted to reactivate it and use the design for another new product/company. But I could not remember the PW. When I entered my email address I did not get an email from Shopify with a link to reset my PW.
The only way I could think of to contact Shopify customer service was to set up a new account. I hope this is making sense.
So ideally I’d like to recover all the work I did previously and then change the name to reflect the new company and products. Is something like this possible? And if so how do I go about doing that?

With regards to your inquiry, please use this link to ensure you are using the correct email address from the previous account.
If you are still not receiving an email reset message from us, I recommend reaching out to our live support team so they can open up back end information and try to dig further to see what is happening with this old account. This is the kind of information needed for your inquiry and this is something that we are not able to access over The Community which is why our live team is the best place for this matter.

Thanks for you quick response. However I’m trying to reactivate my old Pretty Decent Socks (PDS) account and I don’t have the PW.
When I try your suggestion I get an email response to this account, but not the PDS one. And I can’t find a way to access the live support team since I don’t have the PW for PDS.
What am I missing?

Are you able to enter other email addresses that you may have on your end? If you are not receiving information from this account, it appears that you used a different email. I recommend inputting different addresses in the tool link sent above to try to gather more information on your end.
As for reaching out to live support without your account, you can still do this. You simply need to click on, “Continue Without Loggging In” option to reach their queues then they can start this conversation and see how best to assist you if the information on your end is still lacking.
