Hi, I recently had to create a new store here on shopify from zero to a client who used to have a wordpress store. The problem im having is that he wants me to use the old URL from the wordpress store, I transfered the domain from wordpress to shopfiy, but it still opens the old wrodpress store. Anyone knows what can I do so it opens the store i made here on shopify instead of the wordpress one? I already changed the CNAME and A records. TIA

This might happen if you still have the domain attached to your WordPress account. Additionally, you have to ensure that your domain doesn’t have an extra record and is set up as the primary domain within the Shopify account. Feel free to share the domain link to see if that is the case.

Once you log in, select the topic you’d like to discuss with the Support Advisor. In your case, click on Account.
