I’m looking for a way to update the Vendor with inventory without having to enter each product’s page. I’ve loaded 2 inventory update apps and neither one seems to do this.
Do I have to do a separate product export/import to make this happen?
This would be easy if I could just add Vendor field to the inventory page or make the (admin panel) Product page editable like the inventory page is now.

I understand that you’re trying to bulk edit your inventory’s vendors.
Here’s how to bulk edit your products and change the vendor:

From your Shopify admin, click Products.

Using the check boxes, select each of the products that you want to modify. If you want to edit variants of just one product, then select only that product.

Click Edit products:
The Bulk editor page displays the products that you selected and some of their editable properties in a table.

Click Add fields. A list of editable properties appears:

Click a property to add that property to the table for editing. In your case, click Vendor.

If you want to add multiple properties, then repeat this procedure.

Click and type within a field in the table to edit the property (column) for that product or variant (row). You can edit as many products and properties as you like.

Click Save to save all of the product changes that you’ve made using the bulk editor.
