I’ve already followed the suggestion of going into “collections” creating a collection and selecting arrange manually. This didn’t work. When I pull up the page on my cell phone it still shows no change in the order of products. When I try to contact customer support through the live chat I am repeatedly told that live chat support is only for people who have a store and to sign up for an account. I Have a store! I see dozens of others over the last few years with the same problem and I don’t feel that I should have to watch 20 minute youtube videos and seek assistance in the simple task of moving a product on my page! somebody fix this !
Hi, @Wireless24 . I’m happy to look into this with you! I just have a few questions to make sure I’m giving you helpful advice going forward. If you can share a screenshot of how you’ve set up the sort order for this collection and how it appears on your storefront, that will help as well.
- Which theme are you currently using?
- Where on your home page are you trying to add these products?
- If you are using sections and blocks to customize your theme, what is the name of the section you are using to display these products?
Once I have more information I can share more suggestions to help you with this. That being said, typically to do this you would edit the sort order of your collection by following these steps, as you mentioned. Once you’ve saved this sort order, this is the order your collection will appear in on your storefront by default. Depending on where you are trying to display this collection, you would then use your theme editor or Online store > Navigation settings to place that collection where you’d like it to be.
For your problem with the Help Center, can you tell me more about what’s happening? For example, what did you type to the Help Center assistant? Did you log into your account when it asked you to or is something happening that is preventing you from doing that?
