As a logistics service provider we receive questions from (potential) customers if we would be able to process Shopify orders as Shipments in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Are there any costs involved for the logistics service provider to become a center for Shopify fulfillment center?

  • Are these costs linked to the amount of orders or customers connected to Shopify?

Thanks for your question - are you looking to be an available custom fulfilment centre that merchants can ship orders via? If so I believe you just need to be able to integrate with our APIs - or do you want to be set up as a fulfillment service app?

The question came from (potential) customers who would like us to be their service provider and want Shopify to be their sales channel. Therefor connecting via API should be sufficient, however my question was regarding pricing. Are there any additional pricing consequences for a logistics service provider when connecting to Shopify?
