I am trying to download ShopSync to my store but it keeps saying I do not have permission to download it. How do I fix that?

If you are attempting to add a third-party application from the Shopify App Store and you are receiving a permissions error. This is most likely due to that you may be signed in as a staff account rather than the admin. My suggestion is to make sure that you are signed in as the admin or a staff account with app and channel permissions. If you do not have access to the admin account, you can reach out to the admin of the store and request channel and app permissions for the staff account.
That should allow you to add the third-party application to the store without experiencing the permissions error.
