How do I hire a Shopify expert to upgrade to 2.0?

I’d like to get a job quote to migrate my store, but it’s not clear to me which topic area I should create the job under.

Has anyone used an expert to migrate? or maybe recommend someone to do it?

I’m using California and they have a 2.0 update I’d like to use.

Hi @modibot

If your theme has the 2.0 update, it first starts with adding that latest version to your store in order to see what can be redone on the new theme compared to what you have before.

The pages you created should carry over normally if the content was added on the Shopify Text Editor and not via code, the rest of the homepage would need to be replicated to account for the new theme.

Thanks for the reply. I have downloaded it, but open it and take some time to see how far off the build is. So far I have only opened the homepage.
