I have imported all my products into Shopify from Etsy and have noticed that every product page shows the additional info of Ingredients and Nutritional info at the bottom of the page.
The issue is that these products are Mugs, T-shirts, Cushions etc.
I have added a standardized type to them but that doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Hi there @papabearuk . I’m happy to help you out with this!
Which theme are you currently using for your store? It sounds like you may have some blocks or sections added to your theme that you don’t need. Are you speaking of an area on your product pages like what’s shown in the screenshot below?
You can remove these tabs from within your theme editor. Your theme editor is where you will make most of the edits to how your storefront appears. To get into your theme edtior go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify Admin and then click Customize (next to the theme you’re using). From here, select your Default product page template and then you can edit the sections that appear on your product pages. The “Ingredients” and “Nutritional info” areas will likely appear as blocks under the Product information section. If you click a block (for example, the “Ingredients” block), the settings for that specific block will open, including the option to delete it. This might be different depending on which theme you’re using, but I’ve included an example of what it might look like below:
If you don’t mind me asking, I was also wondering how the rest of your migration to Shopify has been? Are there any other areas of the platform you have questions about? I’d be happy to help further!
I have since found out that was the way to remove them quite by chance when following the instructions to use the review app but thanks for the info and I will be sure to follow the links you have suggested to learn more.
