I’m trying to setup Authorize.Net as Payment Provider for US based store but as I heard, Authorize.Net is no longer available as Payment Provider for US. Bit confused in the Help Center document I found:
Just wanted to clarify if I can still activate this for upcoming stores probably by using API integrations? or any way around to activate this feature?
If Authorize.net no longer supports USA based merchants there won’t be an option to get around that. Transactions that are processed through businesses registered in the USA won’t be able to be authorized, even if there was some way to work around it.
You mentioned you were confused about the Help Center document, would you mind sharing some additional information on what you were confused about?
RE: Yes, Authorize.net currently supports US-domestic businesses (and always has). No problem.
Be advised that Authorize.net is not payment processor nor a merchant services provider. They are a [payment gateway] only.
Simply meaning, any business entity in the USA or individual can sign up for an Authorize.net account and get one within minutes. However, you will still need a payment processor.
SOLUTION
My company is an Authorize.net approved partner and reseller. Since. you already have an Authorize.net payment gateway account, we can connect you with a Shopify-friendly payment processor. No application fee, no set ups. It takes approximately one day (or less) to get service approved and activated on your website store.
Send me a private message and I’ll email you the link to sign up and provide full disclosure on the service provider.
One last important point. If for some reason your store is unable to activate Authorize.net (as is the case with some online stores), simply switch over to Bankful Payment Gateway.
Bankful is an excellent Shopify-approved payment gateway.
Your customers experience a seamless checkout experience without getting redirected away from Shopify when entering their credit card details.
Bankful’s full-featured payment gateway offers a robust suite of electronic payment capture tools and management solutions.
I see that you trusted my expert advice and signed up with the alternative Shopify-approved payment gateway. Yes, we know that Authorize.net is the most popular brand name when it comes to payment gateway, however, there are several other Shopify-friendly alternatives that work great!
The preferred payment gateway (whose name I won’t promote here) offers much better pricing compared to Authorize.net
More feature-rich tools such as; a free Virtual Terminal, SMS text invoicing and email invoicing
Apple Pay and Google Pay (included at no additional charge)
eCheck-By Web and Plaid (which lets customer pay by logging into to their bank account while still on your website checkout page).
Automated email receipts…and much more
No sign up fee. No application fee and only $0.10 cents per transaction when accepting credit cards and debit cards.
If you’re experiencing difficulty getting online with Authorize.net, just send me an email. I’ll reply with a link to the preferred payment gateway. Accounts are getting approved and activated on the same day or within 24 hours.
eMerchant Broker (EMB) cant see their integration available in shopify 3rd party gateway integration, as authorize, net also not available in shopify at the moment, so how is it possible to connect gateways with shopify
