How to add custom question/ tick boxes on Cart page

Hello!

I was wonder how to add questions like this on your cart page or checkout page. Example:

I also want it to be all pre-selected. Also the How did you hear about us dropbox.

Asking your customers how they heard about your store is a great way to see where traffic is coming from and shape your upcoming marketing campaigns- so it would be an awesome idea to have this on your store! While it is not possible to include this on the checkout page, since the customizations on the checkout page are limited, you would be able to ask this question on the cart page.

We have a handy tutorial from our manual here which shows you how to create a drop-down menu on your cart page where you can assign choices that your customers can pick. You can even include an “other” option where customers type in their source and you have these answers send to you by email in the New Order Confirmation.

The image you provided with the pre-selected question box options appears to be a feature integrated through custom HTML coding. Here is a forum post tutorial that walks you through making these coding adjustments. You can edit the message beside the checkbox to say whatever you would like, so, I really think this would work for you! This is considered an advanced coding tutorial, we highly suggest hiring a Shopify Expert if you have no previous knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

As you’re working on establishing where your traffic is coming from, you may be interested in learning about email marketing which can be one of the most effective and profitable marketing channels. You could also look at incorporating Google Analytics to help with determining customer traffic, what pages they flow to, and their actions on the site. You can add a ‘custom checkbox’ and ‘How did you hear about us dropbox’ on the cart page by doing some customization to your theme code. If you are not good at coding then in the Shopify app store there are several apps available to show a checkbox or one tick box to add additional value to your cart drawer, but there is only one app available who have this one tick box/checkbox and Survey box on the full cart page.
