My store has been on dropshipping for six months. We sell appraisals like Tshirts, mugs, caps, and backpacks. Tried FB ads but no luck. Wondering how everybody managed to get their first sale…
Hey @WingSpan
Sometimes, the problem isn’t the ads. Sometimes the problem is that the store is not designed user-friendly or the store doesn’t looks professional enough. Can you share your Store URL and Password if enabled so that I can have a look on it and provide you with some improvements?
Best Regards,
Moeed
Hi, @WingSpan
Greetings, and thanks for posting!
As @Moeed mentioned, sometimes it’s not the ad, it could be your store isn’t set up to convert. If you could please provide your domain we can take a look and provide ways in which you can improve.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @WingSpan ,
There are a series of factors involved to successfully break through.
-
What’s the performance of your ads? Given that all visitors to your website go through the marketing funnel, you need sufficient traffic to your site to break a sale. For example if my store only has 20 visitors a day, it is really unlikely that one of those will buy your product, compared to the chances of having a sale when you have 100 visitors (just as an example)
-
How fast is your website? If your website takes a lot of time to load, a lot of visitors are lost when they click on the ad and wait until your page loads completely. Check that with Pingdom or any other website speed tool.
-
As the other users mentioned, sometimes our websites are not optimized for conversion. Make sure that yours is or try a different theme that is more suited for it.
I hope it helps!
