How to handle a suspicious chargeback email?

Hello,

I received this email and it brought up defferent red flags.

  1. We have no record of any previous order by this person.

  2. We have no record of this order number.

  3. We have never had any order remotely close to this $$ amount.

I am attaching email for you review. It appears to be a fraudulent phishing expedition. Please let me know if your thoughts.

This could be a phishing email, to be on the safe side forward the message to Shopify’s safety inbox at safety@shopify.com.
