How to increase sales for my new online store?

Good morning, I am a “newbie” to all this. I created & opened my Shopify Store about a week or so ago. “BMP Products Online” (b8chmandpey.myshopify.com)

I have numerous drop ship products uploaded & listed on my store. I priced them with very low profit margins just to gain some interest and sales to get going. I was approved as an Amazon Affiliate. I have connected with Google Merchant and all my products have just been approved. I have tested my site and even purchased one of my products, lol. And I have all my Social Media Accounts attached & setup with my Shopify Store. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest etc. I added keywords & # hashtags to all my products, videos & posts.

I have even started posting and uploading videos of my products to all my Social Media Accounts and I’ve gained some followers. I have many views one video as high as 1350 views. I have some visits to my store, I believe about 125 last week when we started out, but not even 1 sale so far (besides my own to test everything out) lol. So please help me out. What am I doing incorrectly or what am I not doing that I should be? I really don’t have $ at this point to pay for ads or to pay a Shopify expert for assistance. At least until I begin making some sales. Please feel free to take a peek at my store (b8chmandpey.myshopify.com) and give me any insight or suggestions or how I can get this Store off the ground.
Thanks, Bob (BMP Products Online)

Hi, @Bmp

Thanks for posting, and congrats on your latest business venture!

Starting an online store is definitely a learning curve, and you’ve come to the right place. At first glance, the major issue with your store that will prevent conversion is there is no branding. It appears you have added products, but haven’t sold yourself as a reliable business. Customers need to trust the store to make a purchase.

It’s important to ask yourself, “What will make customers buy from me, instead of my competitors?” This can include creating a product niche, a brand identity, and more. For example, your store requires a logo, navigation, and FAQ. I recommend using our Dropshipping 101 guide as this will walk you through how to create a successful dropshipping business as well as how to develop a brand identity.

Best of luck!

Thank you for your input & advice Skye, we will absolutely look into that.
We appreciate you’re insight. We do have our Logo (BMP Products Online) but
we really haven’t looked for a niche.
