How to link UPS API to my Shopify Basic Plan Store

Hey guys!

Been having some problems recently

I have my store on Shopify basic plan but I don’t know how to use the API that UPS Provided to get calculated shipping rates at check out.

I am not based in the US I am in the Caribbean so the generic rates wont apply and i am forced to either set manual band rates or free shipping which isn’t workable.

HELP?!?!

Hi,

Do you have your own account associated with the UPS shipping carrier?

You can enable the carrier-calculated shipping in the Shopify store that allows you to add UPS as a carrier and calculate the shipping cost.
For more info, can check out this guide.

An alternative way to integrate your own UPS account is with an app like the Multi-carrier shipping label Shopify app.

The app allows users to calculate rates based on various conditions, print labels, and also handle tracking automatically.

Hello,

I do not want to upgrade to the Advanced plan as my website cannot sustain that subscription fee every month.

How can i upgrade for the $20 per month add on with shopify?

Hi,
@Sachin868

Here are two options available for you to add to your plan:

  1. This can be added to your monthly subscription for an additional $20 USD per month. In order to do so, we will need the store’s Account Owner to request this, by reaching out to the support team here.

  2. If you switch your billing cycle from monthly to annual, the subscription cost is discounted by 10%, and the feature is included for free. This can once again be added by the support team after you’ve updated your billing cycle.
You can update your billing cycle at any time under your Shopify Admin > Settings > Plans and permissions > Compare plans
