How to mark a product as shipped or received/ finished?

Hi there!

I have a question, I just launched my website and received around 10 orders.

I had an action that if you were living within an area of 50km I would come and deliver the wines myself.

Now I brought all the wines to the customers, but I am looking on how to fulfill the orders and complete them to have them finished in Shopify without using a track & trace doe since I shipped them myself in person.

Does someone know how to take care of this?

This is Theodore from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.

You can definitely fulfill your orders in Shopify without using a tracking code since you delivered them yourself. Here’s how:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin panel and navigate to Orders.
  2. Find the orders you fulfilled with personal delivery.
  3. Click on each order to open it individually.
  4. Locate the Fulfillment section.
  5. Click on Mark as fulfilled. You won’t need to enter a tracking number here.
  6. (Optional) In the Notification section, you can choose to send an email to the customer letting them know their order is complete.

This has been a limitation with shopify for a while now. There is an app called Mark Delivered on the App store that helps with this. I think its outside interest and hence outside scope for shopify.

You are able to fulfill those orders manually in Shopify. Open up each order, tap Fulfill items, choose Custom delivery or No tracking, then tap Mark as Fulfilled. Put in a note such as Hand delivered for your records. This is the proper way to close an order, to update the analytics, and keep the inventory accurate without any tracking information."
