Can someone explain me how to market a free gift the best way on your product page?
Also, how can this be visible and automatically added to the cart?
Any apps needed?

Regarding how to promote a free gift offer,**there are many ways. However, after working with over 50k+ Shopify Plus stores, we’ve found that customers don’t like feeling “sold to.” That said, the best way to promote a free gift is to do it elegantly without annoying their shopping experience.
And here are all best positions that most of our users use to market free gift on their product page (you can pick some & test which one your customers respond to best):
Next to the product name → Using GIFT ICON (it also shows on your homepage so customers can easily know which products offer free gift, which not)
In product description → Using GIFT THUMNAIL to make the offer visually engaging ( and also tell how they can claim it like which condition they have to meet,.. if you want)
At the corner of product page → Using TODAY OFFERS widget, displaying across all/specific page(s) in your store. Whenever customers want to know what your store is currently offering today, they can click on the icon at the corner & the widget will fully appear to visualize all gift offers for them
On the top of your cart → Using CART MESSAGE to notify customers about the offer and encourage shoppers to buy more
** Regarding how to automatically add free gift to cart,**I highly recommend using a third party app to do it as Shopify native discount hasn’t supported it yet.
