How to merge different AliExpress listings into one product on Shopify?

Topic summary

A merchant wants to combine product variants from two separate AliExpress listings into a single Shopify product page, but manual SKU copying hasn’t worked.

Suggested Solutions:

  • CSV Method: Export products via CSV, edit to merge them, then re-import using Shopify’s native import/export feature. This is recommended as the most straightforward approach, though concerns exist about whether it works with Oberlo and live inventory tracking.

  • Automation Tools: For more advanced needs, Mechanic app allows custom scripts to automate Shopify processes.

  • Third-Party App: Easify Product Options app was recommended for merging products with variations (e.g., combining separate Black T-shirt and White T-shirt listings into one T-shirt product with color options). Screenshots showing app setup and storefront results were provided.

Status: The discussion remains open with the original poster questioning whether manual intervention is required and how inventory synchronization would work with the CSV method.

Does anyone know how to merge products from different AliExpress listings on Shopify? If I have two different variants from two different AliExpress listings, then they will appear as two different products in my product page. Anyone know how to combine them into one product listing? I’ve tried just manually copy pasting the SKU into one product listing but it didn’t work. Thanks!

CSV export > edit > import process is the sanest, cheapest way to merge products.

More advanced custom automation can be done with usemechanic.com app. It lets you write scripts to automate shopify processes.

Hi @humbadei ,

If you’re looking to merge products with variations, I’d recommend giving the Easify Product Options app a try. Let’s assume you have two products, a Black T-shirt and a White T-shirt, and you want to consolidate them into a single T-shirt product with color options. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to achieve this :hugs: :
