How to stop sales from this warehouse when the warehouse inventory is zero

When there are two warehouses and one warehouse is zero, the inventory is still deducted from this warehouse and becomes a negative number. This is chaotic for the background inventory. How can we sell from the warehouse when the warehouse is out of stock?

Hello @kingsun

You can enable the option Continue selling when out of stock from Product to sell from the warehouse when the warehouse is out of stock : https://prnt.sc/Lj0Xnzm5bd1V

I hope the above is useful to you.

NO,I don’t need it Continue selling when out of stock. What I need is to stop selling from this warehouse when there is no stock.Another warehouse can sell, but only if it matches his address.

When one warehouse is zero, it cannot be sold from this warehouse, but needs to be sold from another warehouse.

Hello @kingsun ,

Welcome to Shopify Community! Happy 2023 :slightly_smiling_face:

If you have two warehouses, it is important to ensure that sales are not being made from the warehouse that is out of stock.

One way to do this is to use the inventory management features in Shopify to track the inventory levels at each warehouse. You can then set up an automatic notification system that alerts you when the inventory of a particular product at a particular warehouse reaches zero. This way, you can manually stop sales of that product from that warehouse until it is restocked.

Another option is to use a Shopify apps :

https://apps.shopify.com/multi-source-inventory

If you are using a “safety stock” level for each product, you may want to consider setting different safety stock levels for each warehouse. This way, when the inventory at one warehouse falls below the safety stock level, sales of that product are automatically stopped at that warehouse until the inventory is replenished.

Why can offline POS still issue orders when all goods are zero? Can I control with two applications?

The offline POS is also sold when it is out of stock. Can I use these two software restrictions?
