Hey folks
This is really frustrating me now and we really need a solution to this as it’s causing damage to our business and creating poor customer service.
We set ‘Continue selling when stock is zero’ to OFF for all our products. We noticed that sales were still being allowed. I checked with Shopify as I was sure this was a bug, but they say no, its a feature. Because we still have stock in other locations they still allow the sale to go through. This kind of make sense if you have a warehouse in Houston and one in Orlando as examples, but our two locations are Wisconsin and Taiwan!
People in Taiwan are ordering things we don’t have stock of because of this stupid decision by shopify and the only way to stop is is to set our inventory in Wisconsin to zero too which would also shut off sales in the US.
Any advice how to fix this?
Thank you!
