They are wanting access to my shopify store so they can fix it and get me traffic and sells. Is this legit and safe or no?
I am getting offers to UP my store so I will get traffic and sells. Are these ppl legit or scammers?
Hi, @EvaLove !
I noticed that you mentioned these offers here in your other post as well. Without any information on where the offers are coming from, I’m not able to provide any advice other than that if you don’t feel safe, it’s best not to move forward with the offer. I second Daniel’s suggestion to check out the Shopify Experts Marketplace if you want to hire someone, as these are trusted professionals with experience working on Shopify stores.
I took a look at your store and noticed that the Twitter link in the footer is leading to a page that says “This account doesn’t exist”. Additionally, your Facebook link is directed to a personal profile. I recommend creating business pages for both Twitter and Facebook, along with any other social media channels your business will be on.
Business accounts with content posted regularly will help you build an audience around your brand and products, and help you drive traffic to your store. This guide can help you create a social media marketing strategy: Go Beyond Likes and Follows: How to Create a Social Media Strategy That Sells.

I am getting spammed to death from shopify scammers trying to get me to give them money to fix or market my site. They won’t take NO for an answer either. They are spamming to to death!
Thank you for the additional information, @EvaLove .
If these emails are coming in as submissions from your store’s contact form, there are third-party apps available to help you mitigate spam or bot contact form submissions. I recommend checking out these two:
While we cannot entirely block spam like this from coming through the contact form, our team is working to reduce these types of messages. If you notice any trends or receive any other messages that you’re unsure about, please forward them to safety@shopify.com so we can keep track of this type of activity.
