I am being asked for my Shopify Account ID by Google, to deal with a support request. Shopify is so poorly designed that I can’t even find my ID. Every single help guide, even the ones produced by Shopify either starts off by saying “now that you have your ID you can paste it here…” great help, or is so out of date it refers to an old version of Shopify, and they’ve just not bothered to update the user material after moving things about.
Hi, @Kev-1in100 .
Thank you for reaching out.
You will need to contact our Support Team to receive your account ID.
Please let me know if you have any further questions! I would love to learn more about your business. What type of products do you sell?
Talk soon,
It is required to raise support requests with certain apps, such as Google. So the only way to liaise with Google is to raise a support request with Shopify, so that I can then raise a support request with Google. Seems a little ironic to hide a field called ID…
Hi, @Kev-1in100 .
Thank you for your reply!
I completely understand. Currently, account IDs are located in the back end and unavailable in the admin. I will definitely provide your feedback to our team regarding access to this ID number.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
Take care,
@Emily_50 could you please check my thread:

I don’t mean to hijack this thread, but I have not found accurate information about this topic.
Are you serious? We can’t easily access our own ID’s as owners/admins?
Hi Kev.
I had the exact same problem!!
If you go to Settings > Domains - you will find a basic shopify domain like (dummy example) “b09x07-0b.myshopify.com”, this is the Account ID google will be asking for
i also need help with that
This worked for me. Thanks!
Thanks a lot mate! Youre absolutely right about finding it in the domain tab.
Emily was spreading some fake news right there.
