Hi i forgot to cancel my trial and Shopify charged me for $48 dollar. I want a refund. It was a test store. I really need my money back.

If you selected a subscription plan while you were on the trial period, the billing cycle automatically starts once the trial ends to avoid any downtime if you’ve already launched your website or if you’re still building your store. Since the account was only a test, you can close your store now to cancel your subscription and stop any charges. If you haven’t done this yet, you can follow the steps below to close your store.
- Log in to your Shopify admin.
- Head over to Settings > Plan.
- Click Cancel subscription or Pause or cancel subscription.
- Review the options to pause your subscription, or sell your store.
- Click Cancel subscription and close store.
- Select a reason for the cancellation, and then click Continue.
- Enter your password, and then click Close store.
You will then receive an email confirmation for the closure. Please note if you decide to reopen your store in the future, you can do so by simply logging in with your credentials. Your store’s information is guaranteed for 2 years so you can pick up where you left off.
Now, as for the refund, we actually don’t provide refunds as per Section 14.10 of our Terms of Service. With that being said, we can access and look into your account and see if any exceptions can be made.
