Can I close my subscription and get a refund after a free trial?

Please I forgot to cancel my free trial, I just got debited now, I no longer need the store, can I close it and get a refund.

Normally, Shopify does not issue refunds, but it would be best to contact Shopify Support via email (support@shopify.com), phone, or chat to get assistance.

If you want to close your store, please follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Log into your Shopify Admin Panel
  • Step 2: In the setting section, choose “Plan and permissions”
  • Step 3: In the Store status section, choose “Close Store”
  • Step 4: Fill in your password
  • Step 5: Choose your reason and hit “Close my store”
