I got an email from "shopify" that i think it's a spam

I got this email from “Shopify” about closing my account.

Now I am pretty skeptical and not sure if it’s real email of fake.

the email address is:

<shopifyteamtaskforce@gmail.com‏>

let me know please if it’s fake or not

Shopify would never email from a gmail.com domain so most probably it’s a scam email and there’s nothing to worry about and you can ignore it as it’s completely fine.

You were right, idk why I didn’t notice it lol

But when I tried to enter my Shopify it didn’t let me, that’s why I was a bit suspicious and thought its real

There must be some other issue as it’s not related to that email, make sure you don’t share any type of information with these type of emails.

Hi @Alonsaar

This email is definitely fake and a phishing attempt.

I recommend marking the email as spam and forwarding it to safety@shopify.com so their security team can investigate. Stay safe!
