shopify keep telling me i have an SSL Certificate configuration issue, but not telling me more.

SSL Checker tells me everything is fine

I looked online and checked the following:

  • Ensure your A record points to Shopify’s IP address (23.227.38.65) .

  • Verify that your CNAME record (www) points to shops.myshopify.com .

  • Delete any other A records

OK, their last response said Issue: Certificate Authority (CA) Mismatch

The CA Mismatch error usually means that your domain’s SSL certificate does’t match the one issue by the Shopify.

Here are the steps you can follow to fix it.

  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Domains.
  2. Ensure that your primary domain is correctly connected. There should be not warning.
  3. Then Click “Check Status” next to your domain.

By following these steps your domain SSL issue should be fixed.

Thank you for your response - i should have been more careful. The email, although it looked authentic, turned out to be a scammer upon checking the sender domain. i checked your suggestions anyway and appreciate it.
