Hello, I want to integrate my Shopify store with a vendor’s Shopify store whom I dropship for. I want to be able to sync our inventory information with their store, and be able to automatically update them when an order comes through or it updates my customer when a product is fulfilled from the vendor. Is there a way to integrate this - does it have to be through a shopify app? Thanks in advance!

Yes you need to build a custom app to do this, because you will need API keys to programmatically access a store and make changes.

If you don’t have the time or budget to build a custom app, you could set up email notifications using Shopify Flow or Order Automator to send notifications when an order contains products from the vendor, then someone can manually make the adjustment.
