I’m developing a store on Shopify and would like to know if there’s a way to implement split payments, in other words, dividing the payment for a single order between different recipients (suppliers/partners), as is commonly done in marketplaces.

Splitting payments by recipient, Shopify doesn’t have built in support for allowing payment to automatically split to multiple recipients but, apps such as SPD Split Payment & Deposit, Split Partial Payments, or Deposit & Partial Payment (Depo) might be able to help. A custom-built app with Shopify Plus and a supported gateway such as Stripe Connect, as well as external APIs, is needed for full flexibility.
