I received this email from the email address shopifymailcommunity@gmail.com

Is it legit or a scam? Any advice gratefully received :blush:

To be on the safe side where the web is concerned, assume everything is a scam.

If I received that and was unsure if it was legit, I’d go to Shopify support live chat directly, ask to speak to a person, then explain the email you’ve received.

That said, no one from Shopify is going to be emailing you from a Gmail. This is 99.9% a scam email.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I have to admit my default is everything is a scam but I have occasionally been wrong :see_no_evil_monkey: :see_no_evil_monkey: . I really appreciate your response :grinning_face:
