I received an email from “Shopify” saying that my store is violating their policies. I thought it was real at first, but I also got retargeted to telegram and I don’t feel right about that. Please somebody help me check if this email is legit!!

It’s a scam. Delete and move on.

HI @RamiroRD

It is a scam and a lot of that is going on right now, almost every day 4-5 new topics on the forum appear.

Please check this great post that explains a few things

But to add, if you hover over the “Shopify support” sender you will most likely see a Gmail email. Shopify never uses that. Next, when you find something suspicious try to Google search. You can find pages and pages of similar questions; most have scams in the title. Scammers use a sense of urgency as you see in the title not to give you time to think and react straight away.

So be cautious and stay safe.
