Today I received a mail from update.shopifycompliancecentre@gmail.com saying that my store has been flagged due to the absence of a valid Intellectual Property (IP) license and also gave a ticket id. Here is the mail I received.
I replied them and I was redirected to a whatsapp number. He said that my website doesn’t have an IP license which will lead to issues in the future and he proposed an offer of 75$ for which he will assist me with resolving the flagged issues and ensuring my store’s compliance with Shopify’s Intellectual Property standards. Is this a scam.
