  • Open question: Whether others are experiencing the same and if there’s any alternative or setting to restore auto-refresh.

Status: Ongoing. No resolution or workaround beyond manual refresh reported.

Live views have stopped updating automatically since yesterday. I have to manually refresh my page to see visitors and active carts, whereas before, it all happened automatically. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I contacted Shopify, and they told me it’s just how it’s now! Thanks

Hi @Anonyme1316 ,
You’re not the only one noticing this. Shopify has been making changes to the Live View dashboard, and in some cases it no longer auto-refreshes as frequently as before.

  • Clear your browser cache
  • Open the dashboard in an incognito window
  • Try a different browser

Hello,

I’ve already tried everything and unfortunately nothing works yet.

Experiencing the same issue

I think it has been fixed

Hi @Anonyme1316 ,
It seems like Shopify’s live view updates in real-time on your account have now switched to refreshing manually. You can work around this by using a browser auto-refresh extension or by viewing Shopify Analytics reports that auto refresh, such as “Sessions over time” and “Live view by location”, to keep an eye on activity without having to keep refreshing.
