So the store I help manage was set up years ago without shopify shipping integrated, using sort of a hodge-podge of shipping zones and not-exact item weights to arrive at ‘close-enough’ shipping charges for customers.
Recently with shipping costs changing more rapidly, we’re looking to use shopify shipping to generate labels and shipping costs for our customers, so that we need not manually update something like 200 different rates(For different weight/zone combos) every couple of months.
Is there a way to stage that, so that I can wipe away all of our old rates and zones, and start from scratch, taking my time to make the updates, then publish those changes all at once, cutting over from the old way of doing things to the newer method?
I’ve seen a lot of articles about duplicating themes for making changes and then publishing that, but it’s not apparent to me if that covers things like shipping and delivery settings, or just cosmetic and organizational details of the storefront.
