I have synced my Shopify store to my Google Merchant account but keep getting “missing or incorrect shipping costs” error in Google. In Shopify I have it set as calculated carrier rates but that doesn’t seem to be transferring to Google. I cannot figure this out to save my life so please help.

This doesn’t work, despite selecting “Manually set up shipping settings” in the google and youtube app, google merchant centre still shows “Shipping settings are being handled by Shopify” and greys out all options. We disconnected and reconnected the merchant centre account, it still won’t let us update the shipping.
The other option we’ve tried is to keep merchant centre disconnected, set up shipping rates, but then we can only set up one rate, which is not what we want. Google gives the error that product tag shipping_label is missing once we try to set up product specific shipping rates. Custom google product tags shipping_label or shippinglabel also won’t work.
Any idea how to solve this? Our products show with 3 weeks delivery time, which is ridiculous and should be 8 days max.
Yes that is correct by design. You need to manually pause the shipping settings set by Shopify in Google Merchant Center, by click on the green radio button, then choose pause.
And yes, you will not be able to update the shipping settings, you need to manually add the shipping rates yourself, by following the previous guide.
You can setup as many rates as you like. I have accounts with 100’s of rates.
If you want to setup shipping rates based on a shipping label, then make sure the shipping label is added in the data feed.
