I am using Monk app to offer customers a tiered offer for free shipping at $85 and a free gift at $150. This can be combined with my other active Shopify discounts. However, I had someone place an order that met the $150 threshold for the free GWP, but then used a discount code which brought their order value below the $150 but they still received the gift. Does anyone know how to set up the Monk app or custom code so that it removes the GWP if a discount code brings the order value below the set threshold?
Here’s a screenshot of a recent order where the original cart value was $188 and they were awarded the GWP, but with the 30% off code it brought the cart down to $145, yet the GWP was not removed from their cart.

the Monk app might not have an out-of-the-box solution for this, you can try reaching out to their support team and explain the issue. They might offer a more tailored solution or advise on any new feature updates that could be of use to you in handling this issue better.
Another option is, If you are on Shopify Plus, you could also explore Shopify flow to automate this. You can create a flow that checks if the order value after a discount is below the $150 threshold and remove the GWP if necessary. You would need to check if there’s an action in Flow that can remove items based on cart value.
I’m not on Shopify Plus, but dang because that would be such an easy fix!
Yep I’ve reached out but I won’t hear back from them until Monday, so just trying to see if anyone has any other experience with this or solutions.
Script Editor is now only avail to Shopify Plus which I don’t have. But I appreciate the guidance!
