Why did my search bar stop working. I did nothing. Even though our site was down, I didn’t change anything to the store itself. Was there an upgrade? Will the Search & Discovery app work without messing up the design of the website?
if you have backup, restore it. remember when you play on coding, and if you played with coding in theme editor undo it,

I had a look on your website, and while I found that some very specific product names did come up and the search worked with them, when I tried other keywords related to your products it would not come up with anything.
Could you let me know what the name of your theme is? If this is one of our free Shopify themes, our team may be able to look into this issue directly. If this is a third party theme, I would be able to direct you to the developers of your theme who could also look into this for you.
I would recommend investigating the existing search bar issue before adding any apps with this function, as it could interfere with whatever has already happened there and that may cause issues within the code.

I didn’t touch any of the coding to theme. It just stopped working.
It is a third party theme created by a Shopify expert we hired 2 years ago. Looks it started to work again on its own. Probably a glitch because our site was down for 5 days with support being very slow to respond.
